  9. I would like to do the conversation classes with my friends or colleagues, is this possible?
Yes, absolutely. Please get in touch if you would like to organise private group conversation classes.

  10. What is a language acquisition and comprehensible input approach?
Comprehensible input is a term used in language learning that describes when you “input” information into your brain, typically through reading or listening in your target foreign language. It should be “comprehensible” language, meaning it is at a level that is understandable to you. Or preferably a little bit beyond what is understandable to you. Ideally, you should be able to understand (or comprehend) anywhere from around 50% to 95% of the content.

Often English learners can find advanced subjects, such as the brain, mind or consciousness, too complicated and challenging to be able to have a meaningful discussion. Therefore at School of Duda the objective is to create English courses that make these more “advanced” subjects accessible to non-native English students and enable conversations that are enjoyable and create effective learning experiences.

This comprehensible input approach is based on Stephen Krashen’s theory of language acquisition, that helps students to acquire language in a more implicit, natural way, rather than focusing on more explicit learning methods found in traditional language learning methods.
